Message The requested resource [/gerenciador/oi] is not available

nao estou conseguindo acesssar o severlet gerenciador/oi de jeito nenhum, tem algumas soluções aqui no fórum mas nenhuma funcionou para mim, pois utilizo o vscode com a extenção Community sever connector e nao o Eclipse. O caminho para o meu severlet é: D:\javatudo\gerenciador\src\main\java\OiMundo.java

import java.io.IOException;
import java.io.PrintWriter;

import javax.servlet.annotation.WebServlet;
import javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet;
import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest;
import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse;

@WebServlet(urlPatterns="/oi")
public class OiMundo extends HttpServlet {

    @Override
    protected void service(HttpServletRequest req, HttpServletResponse resp) throws IOException {

        PrintWriter out = resp.getWriter();
        out.println("<html>");
        out.println("<body>");
        out.println("oi mundo, parabens vc escreveu o primeiro servlets.");
        out.println("</body>");
        out.println("</html>");

        System.out.println("o servlet OiMundoServlet foi chamado");
    }
}

o web.xml

<!DOCTYPE web-app PUBLIC

 "http://java.sun.com/dtd/web-app_2_3.dtd" >
