quando inicio a aplicação a tela fica em branco , aconteceu logo depois de colocar para conseguir ler o campo.

Rodrigo,

aquelas bolinhas na lateral esquerda do código do @IBOutlet e do@IBActionestão preenchidas ou vazias? Elas precisam estar preenchidas, se não estiverem pode ser isso que esteja causando o erro.

Sim, esta tudo preenchido, mas esta dando algum erro nessa segunda linha de inicialização da classe AppDelegate. o erro apresentado é : Thread 1: signal SIGABRT
