Este curso precisa ser atualizado

Este curso precisa ser atualizado, já que o projeto inicial não compila de forma nenhuma na versão mais recente do AndroidStudio (Android Studio Jellyfish | 2023.3.1)

Já fazem umas 3 horas que estou lutando para conseguir compilar, atualizando bibliotecas, jogando os erros no google e tentando resolver um por um até chegar num erro que não consigo ir pra frente, me falta conhecimento para isso e nem o google mais ajuda.
