Erro após inserir dependências e configurar o aplocation.yml

Sua dependência do spring-data-jpa está com a tag <scope>provided</scope>. Remova essa tag.

Obs: Também está declarado a dependência do mysql duas vezes. Deixe apenas o mysql-connector-j

Fiz a altearções indicadas, mas continua com o mesmo erro:

Você por acaso está utilizando o Eclipse? No Eclipse é comum acontecer esse erro, mesmo estando certo as configurações.

Estou utilizando intelliJ

Manda um print da estrutura de diretórios do seu projeto no IntelliJ. Expande as pastas dentro de src/main/resources.

O arquivo está com nome incorreto: aplication.yml.

O correto é: application.yml (com dois p)
