Erro ao abrir Eclipse no Mac Os Sierra

Fiz a instalação da JDK, via terminal os comandos javac - version e java -version funcionam, porém ao abrir Eclipse e definir o workspace aparece uma mensagem de erro e no arquivo de log dentro da pasta do workspace tem o seguinte conteúdo:

Tentei também usar o NetBeans, porém após a tela de carregamento do NetBeans o programa não abre também. Já tentei de tudo, alguém poderia me ajudar?

Consegui resolver o problema.

Eu estava usando a JDK 9 e parece que o Eclipse não oferece suporte a ela, tentei instalar a JDK 8, mais a versão 9 continuava instalada.

Encontrei os seguintes comandos na internet para remoção da JDK 9.

sudo rm -rf /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk<version>.jdk
sudo rm -rf /Library/PreferencePanes/JavaControlPanel.prefPane
sudo rm -rf /Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin
sudo rm -rf /Library/LaunchAgents/com.oracle.java.Java-Updater.plist
sudo rm -rf /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.oracle.java.JavaUpdateHelper
sudo rm -rf /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.oracle.java.Helper-Tool.plist
sudo rm -rf /Library/Preferences/com.oracle.java.Helper-Tool.plist

Removi todas as versões e instalei a 8 novamente, deu certo.
