Na realidade o arquivo bash_profile só existe para linux e McOS, no Windows existe a variável de ambiente PATH, e você pode editar a variável PATH para inserir o diretório do MongoDB da seguinte forma:

• Acesse Painel de Controle;

• Clique em Sistema e Segurança;

• Clique em Sistema;

• Clique em Configurações avançadas do sistema;

• Acesse Avançado e clique em Variáveis de Ambiente;

• Em Variáveis do sistema localize a variável PATH e clique em editar

• Insira o diretório do MongoDB e clique em Ok.

abri o cmd como admin e entrei na pasta bin e joguei mongod:
